I'm so disappointed with Dish TV. I'm too annoyed to list every reason but I will give you my top reason I can't stand them:
No reception during severe storms.
That stinks.
That stinks BIG!!!!
Especially when the news anchors have everyone all worked up about this being the worst storm since 1974 and THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!
Yea. Stinks. I'm just sitting here looking at a TV screen that says "Satellite signal has been lost."
The end of the world could be coming and I can't even watch it on the news as it happens. Poop.

Is is mean that I'm kinda grinning here? My girls are so used to the power going out that when I say we can't watch tv they reply with "Oh - is the power out?" :).

yeah, we're dumping our Dish this week. SBC apparently has a plan where they help you get out of the contract. And we already have their internet, cell phones and house phone so we're getting a nice package discount.
And the best news is that we'll be able to WATCH TV when it's even mildly windy or rainy outside... or when the sky is falling. ;O)
