Praise God! The surgery went very well. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. It really has been going very smoothly. I haven't experienced any nausea and only a very little bit of dizziness, these are very common side-effects of the surgery.
My mom has been staying with us and helping out a lot with the kids and house.
I'll be going for a follow-up visit with the doctor next Friday but it will be several weeks before I can tell how successful the surgery will be with improving my hearing. I believe it will be 3 months before I have a hearing test.
So, there you have it.
Again, thank you so much for your prayers.
Love to all!

I'm so glad for you. And you know I'm going to ask you this, don't ya. Did you keep the stapes? :-)
Seriously, I'm glad your mom's there to help. That makes all the difference when you're recovering from something like this.

Barb, you are just too funny! No, I let the doctor dispose of that little stapes. No shriveled up little black thing-ys in my fridge, thank you very much!
