I've been off of caffeine for about a week now and all I can say is WOW! I know that doesn't seem very long but it is long enough to see effects of no caffeine. The biggest change I've noticed in my body is how much easier it is to wake up in the morning. When my eyes open I'm ready to go!!! That is amazing to me because before I would drag my feet until I had my first cup of coffee and the caffeine was running through my veins. I've also noticed that I have a ton of energy. Amazing for a mother of 2 little ones. I always heard people say that you have more energy when you're off of caffeine and I always thought they were nuts. Well, I'm the nut now! I do have more energy and it is awesome!
My challenge to you: TRY IT! Try to get the caffeine out of your system and see what happens. And then come back and let me know. Good luck!

You go girl! I'm thinking that it is better if we take this challenge one person at a time. Two people in one household trying to quit caffiene at the same time is a recipe for disaster! :)

Hi, My name is Doug, and I'm a caffeine-a-holic. I'd like to try it but I don't know if I can handle the withdrawal headaches! Any advice?

Doug,
"Any advice?"
I'm an advocate of taking baby steps. I can't handle the cold turkey thing. So, I slowly cut out the caffeine one drink at a time. I'm a coffee drinker in the morning and I did that by mixing caffeine and decaf 1:4, 2:2, 3:1 until it was all decaf. I noticed the last day or two when I was first off I did have some headaches but I just took tylenol to cut it. Be mindful of Exederine - it does have caffiene in it so not an effective pain reliever if trying to cut out the caffiene. I must say - once I got past those two days it was instant change. Crazy!

Thanks for sharing about your decaf experience. You motivated me to TRY IT, also. I will post another comment with signature upon victory.

So....how much is too much? Is my one/two cokes a day too much. Now I'm wondering if I'm addicted. Thanks. :)

Ok, I'm day 2 with NO caffeine. I have the LARGEST headache I've head in a LONG time. Is it worth it? I hope so, we'll see in a few more days.
